So... due to her extensive work within the Dreaming, Firefly began to grow a horn. She knew she had to leave Cloudsdale or risk being discovered for her abilities. When the whole Weather Patrol had gone to vanquish a storm and a second one (due to the activities of Windigoes in the east) threatened Cloudsdale, Firefly knew it was her chance. She became one with the Dreaming, dispelling the entire storm with the Fire of Friendship that burned within her and allowing herself to also be carried by the Dreaming to Concordia. After she was found lying at the palace gates, unconscious, she was brought in to the care of Princess Rosetta. After regaining consciousness, Firefly realized the necessity of taking on a different name and identity so that she could not be linked back to who she had been in Equestria, even if that meant severing the last possibility of reuniting with her beloved pupil, Rainbow Dash. Princess Rosetta proceeded to take "Stella" under her wing as an eventual successor and pupil for study of the Dreaming.
Little did Firefly know that she indeed WOULD meet Rainbow Dash again - within the Dreaming, under the tutelage of the eccentric Pronghorns.
