And just because Lauren Faust wanted Firefly as Rainbow Dash doesn't mean people should go and attempt to mix up G1 with G4 canon.
I mean, isn't it enough that G1 is different from G4? Now Bronies have to short out the difference between the two by screwing up the continuity of the former or having one Generation take place after another in the same timeline? Can't G1 and G4 be two separate Universes?
Anyway, the Applejack of G4 is NOT the same as G1 Applejack!
G1 Applejack was clumsy and liked to eat Apples a lot. She also (shockingly) wasn't a western country girl with the accent of a Texan land Ghetto, As well as not having an Apple related Family with puns for names, not being athletic and competitive, and She
did kick a wizard ,that enslaved a couple of blind ponies to mine crystals, into a wide crack filled with lava.
This makes her more awesome than Derpy and G4 Applejack.
Also, this is whole thing is just the uploaders fanfiction, so it's not really combining universes, but creating one of it's own. If it means we can have several awesome characters in one place, then does it matter?
The only reason otherwise is if the Brony writing the Fan-Fic was so low in Intelligence that he couldn't compute the Differential between timelines and just said: "Fuck it. I'll just screw up the two separate Timelines and Make One take place after the other, and Make Megan and Celestia the same Individual, and Make AppleJack a fucking Redneck, Because I just can't have the two as they are, because the Audience for this Fan-Fic have the Combined Intelligence of Kim Kardashien. Are'nt I just Awesome?
