Best! Day! Ever!If January Brony Con was my Gala, then this one was my Sonic Rainboom. What a amazing event it was. Sadly I didn't see UC77.... He couldn't make it to the signing. I was recognized by a couple folks. Signed some pony books that I didn't do.So the screening there was..... The VA's (minus Tabitha) doing a live cast of the Heart's Warming Eve episode. They used a girl from the audience to sub for Rarity and she was good! That was sooo amazing. Then we got to watch the actual episode with them. (They never seen the whole thing until now)Gave all the VA's gift art.For Tara Strong http://i.imgur.com/rjWzd.jpg - At first she didn't believe I drew it and next thing I'm taking a photo with her holding the pic.For Ashleigh Ball http://i.imgur.com/zTFyR.jpg - She totally loved it. Took a picture with her too. I almost chocked here. I told her about Dash being my favorite pony.I drew a Spike for Cathy Weseluck and a Fluttershy for Andrea Libman, but I didn't take photos of the pics! They love
As season two draws to a close...Hi everyone and everypony! I’m finding it difficult to believe that in less than a week we’ll be waist deep in the Friendship is Magic season finale. It seems like just the other day we were fangasming over the season premier. Now, here we are, 24 episodes down and but a pair remain. This season has been amazing. So much more than any of us really expected. The return of Luna, tons of Derpy, Lyra and Bon Bon hanging out, an unexpected Trixie shout-out, Dragons, more griffins, Time Travel, masked crusaders, self-help minotaurs, and plenty of incontrovertible proof that all the ponies in this town really ARE are crazy. It’s been a brilliant season and a wonderful experience. We’re awash in conventions and gatherings; we have show-accurate toys and favorite background characters to look forward to. Derpy’s name was spoken and she was given voice.
interview with LA WeeklyI am extremely honored to have been interviewed for LA Weekly, and included in their People 2012 issue "People 2012" with the likes of Liz Meriwether and Carrie Fisher and many other fascinating Los Angel-ites. The interview was fun to do, and I'm relieved the photo turned out so nicely.Favorite quote: "Think of the girls," she told herself as she worked on the show. "They need to believe that the stuff they like isn't stupid."Take a read and enjoy!
