From what I've heard, Despite looking a lot like Derpy, Dinky has actually been said to be the daughter of Golden Harvest and Written Script (Male grey unicorn.) and there are lots of clues in the background of them together in the show to support this... I think it should be Derpy but you cant fight Hasbro. Since Derpy is portrayed to hang out with Golden Harvest a lot, its possible she could be close enough to be like an aunt or second mom to her though...
